I don’t get an opportunity to sip a full bottle of moderately priced wine under the elevated tracks of the Paris metro very often, so in that regard Le 15 Café was a success. In truth the café was a selection of pure chance, as Dan and I had been aimlessly wandering through the 15eme for some time before spying its captivating purple neon lights. Despite those unique lights the café was, as with the Café de France, a normal, nothing too special spot to spend some quality time with a glass of good wine. That’s not a knock; it’s just that I wouldn’t suggest making a dedicated trip over to the 15eme simply to sit at a sidewalk table at Le 15. (They did have hotdogs on the menu, though…)
